I recently starting using the kickstrap in one of my rehearsal rooms at my studio. We were having issues with the kick sliding forward and so we had a drummer this week try it out and he said the kick stayed in place and he had no issues the entire rehearsal, everything went smoothly. That’s what I was hoping and that’s what they advertised, it worked! I would recommend buying one, a lot more affordable than some other options out there.
